Louis Group’s Executive Chairman, Mr Costakis Loizou, was honored with the Special Recognition Award by TUI, one of the world’s leading tourism organizations, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development of the tourism industry and his long-standing partnership with the Group.

The award was presented by Mr David Burling, CEO of TUI Northern Region and Member of the TUI Group Board, during a special event held at the Savoy Hotel in London, attended by more than 300 of TUI’s key partners from around the world.

During the ceremony, Mr Burling highlighted the exceptional 55-year partnership between TUI and the Louis Group, describing it as a relationship built on trust, professionalism and shared commitment to excellence. He also recognised Mr Loizou’s important contribution to the development of innovative tourism products, including the launch of one of TUI’s first differentiated holiday concepts at Louis Nausicaa Beach Hotel in Protaras.

The recognition also reflected the Group’s contribution to the cruise sector, where the partnership between Louis and TUI played a significant role during challenging periods for the industry. Mr Burling praised Mr Loizou’s integrity, vision and dedication, values that have strengthened the collaboration between the two organizations over the decades.

Upon receiving the award, Mr Loizou expressed his appreciation for the honor, stating that the long-standing relationship between TUI and the Louis Group has been built on mutual trust, dedication and a shared passion for creating exceptional travel experiences. The Special Recognition Award represents a significant milestone in the history of the Louis Group and highlights the important role the organization has played in strengthening Cyprus and Greece’s position as leading tourism destinations.
